PRIMAL KRAV MAGA INSTUCTOR COURSE
The P.K.M.I.C has been developed over 16 years of in-depth study criminal behaviour pattens around weapon based attacks. Ryan Davies teaches from his real life survival stories and experience as a civilian growing up in Johannesburg South Africa. Ryan has survived an attempted stabbing, muggings, gang street fights and armed home invasions. These experiences shaped Ryan to become a global leader in the world of Self Defence.
It has taken us more than a decade of working with the industries best of the best. With our official Krav Maga black belt recognition PRIMAL is now officiated to create and develop more schools and quality Krav Maga instructors. The P.K.M.I.C is testament to the knowledge passed down to us from teacher to student.
The P.K.M.I.C is a modern up to date approach to teaching. The course is done online. International instructors can join from anywhere in the world. Testing and exams are done in person.
The P.K.M.I.C is personal online coaching. You are coach directly by Ryan Davies via Zoom online call. The lesson are done via conversation on the relevant topic, technique or drill, around a real world video or example.
The P.K.M.I.C is divided into 3 sections/ modules and will take prospective PRIMAL instructors an average of 3 to 5 years to pass full instructorship. No weekend warriors here!
A PRIMAL certified instructor will receive a green belt after completing all 3 modules and will be licensed to open a school of their own.
PRIMAL Instructors are required to meet weekly for an online lesson. Assignments are given each week to be completed before the next lesson.
A good quality dairy or note book is required. You as a PRIMAL instructor are all required to write your own manual, based on the didactics Ryan teaches and a your own personal discovery of combat and self protection.
PRIMAL instructors are required to study the criminal behaviour around gun crime via an academic approach. Knowing a cool disarm is not the point or enough. The point is to be able to know and teach others the differences between being robbed of your personal belongings vs being taken hostage or kidnaped where the gun is used to control the victim. Assassination where the only intention is obvious. Terrorism where fire arms are used by a group or individual with a fanatical believe system. Each of these have different motivation for the use of a gun.
PRIMAL Instructors are required to study criminal behaviour around knife violence. Let’s start with there is no empty hand vs knife. There are transitions to both improvised weapons or deployment from concede carry EDC. There can be know illusions here. If a principle does not work against a knife then we do not teach it. " let the weapon be the teacher “
With the completion of each module, instructor testing and grading is to be done in person either at PRIMAL headquarters JHB South Africa or at your school international or local.
The content of the course is shared both by video tutorial, photos and real life example of the topic, principles or technique being taught.
We are a school and we require monthly school fees. Instructor affiliation to PRIMAL is $ 90 per month or $ 9000 annual payment. There are no extra costs or hidden fees for testing or grading.
P.K.M.I.C Level 1 has 15 topics. The main idea is to teach from a weapons perspective.
